Nutrition Coaching
My goal is to help you form lasting habits for long-term health and wellness—habits that you enjoy sticking to because they make you feel good! Together we will set goals and create a plan to help you successfully meet these goals. Through guided work and check-ins, clients will feel supported throughout the program. Clients can choose to work with me on the topic(s) of their choice or choose one of the packages listed below. I completed my Nutrition Coaching certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and have worked with numerous individuals and given presentations and lectures to United Health Care and clients in the DC area. You can find me working at the Arlington Farmer’s Market for Waterpenny Farms on select Saturdays from April through November. I am so excited to work with you to achieve your healthy lifestyle goals!
My approach to food: A friend once asked me if I realized that I say “mmm” before I take my first bite of a meal. (We used to work together and eat lunch regularly together, so she heard a lot of “mmm’s.”) I didn’t, but she clearly had noticed. That succinctly sums up my approach to food! I tend to follow a Mediterranean diet as I’ve discovered that works best for my body—I used to be a strict vegetarian, but issues with protein intake and nail / hair / skin health made me switch things up. I lean towards an “intuitive approach” to eating rather than dieting or eliminating food groups. I think that small changes can lead to significant results. I believe that everyone’s dietary needs may be a bit different; there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to creating mindful meals and plans.
Yoga and nutrition coaching packages can be combined. I will tailor each of these packages to meet your specific wellness needs and goals. Clients receive a recording of each session as well as weekly notes. All sessions are currently held via zoom. Contact me to start our wellness work together!
