Enjoy fall in the foothills and harvest season by joining us on October 5th for a yoga class in the vineyard, followed by a tasting and tour of Stone Tower Winery! Over the course of the private sommelier-led tour, guests will be sampling four diverse wines. I am thrilled to partner with Blooming Hill Lavender Farm for the third year to offer the popular and peaceful yoga and pastry event at Blooming Hill Lavender Farm! The all levels flow class will be from 9:30-10:30am in the lavender fields. Tea and coffee will then be served in the garden, starting at 10:30am. Tea includes a croissant with lavender jam and butter and a lavender meringue macaron in addition to lavender infused tea and coffee. No prior yoga experience is required. This event is offered on both June 1st and June 15th--pick a date or come to both!

It’s time to get into the holiday spirit! Start your Sunday with an all levels yoga class taught by Natalie at Made in Alexandria’s workshop space, followed by private shopping and a voucher for a drink at St. Elmo's. Made in Alexandria supports artists located in Alexandria, VA. Stretch — and then sip and shop through your holiday list!

This workshop will be hosted online with Yoga Heights.

In the yoga fundamentals workshop, I will take students through foundational yoga postures, working on the alignment and enabling participants to get the adjustments they need to practice the postures effectively and safely. Each pose will be broken-down in detail, with lots of alignment cues. Questions are encouraged! I will provide individual feedback and guidance throughout the workshop. Postures will include: the poses in sun A's (forward fold / chaturanga / updog / downdog), high and low lung, warrior 1, warrior 2, warrior 3, chair, triangle, side angle, pyramid, backbends and shoulder stand.

I will also take requests from students. This workshop is great for people who are new to yoga or seasoned yogi's that are looking for a tune-up!

Stretching and Strengthening the Hips (online)

In partnership with Yoga Heights, join me on Sunday, November 15 for a workshop all about the hips. Learn and work on different poses that stretch and strengthen your hips.

We'll talk through how to stretch and strengthen the hip abductors and adductors, and how releasing tension in the hips also works to release tension in the lower back.

Participants will learn some hip mobility exercises and the differences between internal and external rotation of the hips.

In partnership with Yoga Heights, join me on Sunday, November 8 for a workshop ALL about shoulders. Ever been curious about the movement of the shoulder, or wanted to focus more on it?

Learn about different movements of the shoulders and shoulder muscles with ways to increase mobility in the shoulders. This workshop also covers a variety of deep shoulder stretches as well as working through some strength-building exercises. Participants with any level of yoga experience are welcome to attend.

I am excited to partner with Wollam Gardens to collaborate on this wonderful event!

Included in your $45 ticket price is:

1-2pm: I will lead an all levels vinyasa flow class in Wollam Garden’s pavilion

2-2:30pm: Farm-to-table snacks and refreshments will be provided

2:30-3:30pm: Guided tour of Wollam Gardens, where guests will learn about the history of the property, flower-farming, small-scale agriculture, and Wollam Gardens’ contributions to the local flower movement. Each attendee will get to take home their own seasonal flower arrangement.
